Straightforward answers to help you prepare for your first visit.
How far in advance must I book?
We ask for at least 48 hours' notice for standard appointments. For complex property assessments or multi-location visits, three to five business days allows us to allocate the right team member and prepare adequately. Same-day bookings are not available as a standard offering, though we do maintain a short cancellation list — enquire if you need urgent assistance.
Is there a fee to book an appointment?
Booking itself is free. The appointment fee, which covers the visit, the written summary, and any follow-up correspondence related to that visit, is quoted to you before you confirm. You pay only after the appointment is complete and you are satisfied with the outcome. We do not take upfront deposits for single appointments.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Please notify us at least 12 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations with less than 12 hours' notice may incur a small administrative fee, which will be communicated to you at the time of booking. Rescheduling at any point before the 12-hour window is always free of charge.
Do you travel outside Kakamega town?
Yes — we serve clients across Kakamega County, including Mumias, Butere, Lugari, and Malava. For locations beyond 30 kilometres from Kakamega town centre, a modest travel supplement applies, which is disclosed and agreed before confirmation. We do not currently serve counties outside Western Kenya.
